Floating A/V
Floating A/V
For the release of the Floating LP by Danish artist Rumpistol, we created an interactive real-time sound visualization with an iPad remote control and stereoscopic 3D rendering. The project translated the music into an immersive visual environment that could be experienced and manipulated alongside the album.
The visuals were released as free applications for Mac, Linux and Windows and supported stereoscopic viewing using red/blue, shutter or polarization glasses through side-by-side rendering. A dedicated HTML5 teaser brought one of the floating scenes directly into the browser.
